About Us

Making Science Experiential and Inspiring

About-Science.org is a free educational platform dedicated to high-quality science education. We transform complex topics in biology, physics, astronomy and related fields into structured, interactive lessons that students (Grades 7–12), teachers and lifelong learners can truly experience and understand.

Every lesson combines clear explanations with custom-built interactive tools — 3D models, simulations and gamified assessments — so learners move from passive reading to active discovery. Our goal is simple: to make science engaging enough to spark lasting curiosity and inspiration.

Learn by Doing: Our Hybrid Lesson Structure

We designed every lesson around active learning:

  • Visualize — Custom 3D models present the concept clearly and intuitively.
  • Interact — Hands-on simulations (Solar System Lab, Cell Builder, Virtual Microscope and many more) let you test principles yourself.
  • Verify — Built-in gamified quizzes confirm understanding before you move forward.

This consistent structure ensures lessons are both enjoyable and educationally effective.

Our Team and Commitment to Accuracy

About-Science.org was founded by Anastasia Hansen, who works in the medical field. Her deep passion for science began in childhood and grew through years of dedicated self-study, especially in astronomy and biology. This personal drive inspired her to create a serious educational platform where every subject becomes interesting, understandable and inspiring.

Anastasia has completed 2.5 years of Business Administration studies and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Science. She brings more than 15 years of professional experience in communication and journalism, which helps her translate complex scientific ideas into clear, accessible explanations. She personally designs and programs all the interactive 3D models and simulations to ensure they perfectly support the educational content.

To guarantee scientific rigor and accuracy, every lesson is developed in close collaboration with practising scientists and experienced classroom teachers. These experts fact-check all material against peer-reviewed research and current scientific consensus, help shape lesson plans and learning objectives, and review updates whenever new findings emerge.

Editorial Standards

  • Sources are drawn from NASA, PubMed, academic journals and other established references.
  • All educational text is researched, written and verified by humans.
  • We never use AI to generate lesson content.
  • Science evolves; we correct errors promptly and transparently when they are identified.

A Free Resource for Everyone

About-Science.org is completely independent and funded by non-intrusive advertisements and voluntary donations. High-quality interactive science education should never be behind a paywall — that is why every 3D model, simulation and lesson remains free for any student or teacher in the world.
